GMC fuel tanker

A new project started. After I made many mistake when airbrushed the Citroen I needed to build something. I would like to build a Jimmy and a Studebaker with fuel tank, so I need two conversion sets. I wanted to copy the CMK fueltanker conversion by scratcbuilding, but when seen photograps about the real superstructure, I needed to change my mind. The resin stuff is not so accurate, so I started to build my version after the photograps I found.
I built in the fine, laser cutted paper grille of Limes Models. The result is fantastic!

Basecoat for Petra's animals and for some canvas. And other airbrush works.

I got some "freedom", my family spend the weekend at the grandma, countryside. This is my time, this is airbrush time!

The CUCV got the IFOR logo.

I building a CUCV what served here in Hungary when the IFOR stationed at the area of Kaposvár. I picking ideas from the photos we made when spent some days on the base and airfield. I painted the logo by a selfmade stencil. The result is not perfect, but with some correction (brush) will looks well (I hope so).
